Before beginning the procedure, your face will be thoroughly cleansed, and a topical numbing cream will be applied. Treatment typically takes 30-45 minutes. The microneedles break the skin barrier at a controlled depth (safely going deeper than can be achieved at home with microneedling tools). After treatment, your skin will be pink, resembling a sunburn for 1-2 days. Most patients resume normal activities the following day.
